In order to raise money for expansion, the Aurora Fossil Museum has been granted the right to hold a Lee Creek collecting trip on August 9th. Raffle tickets are $20.00 and I've been advised they're tax deductible (no reps). The drawing will be held July 18th. (From what I've heard, the chances of getting a slot are still good.) The museum provides a great educational service, and deserves our support.

The weather will be hot, this is not a trip for the novice collector or those in poor health. The area will not have had heavy collecting pressure for 10 weeks, and last year they had the heavy rains of hurricane Bertha in mid-July. It could be a fine opportunity to get an insider's shot.
